Undecided about Clemens' Return

Well, I talked with my friend via Instant Message about this topic. I'll post some relevant segments.

Joe: yeah, because it will still take him some time to be ready
me: the only prospect i've seen him interact with is his kid
Joe: maybe it will make others better, but if he doesn't go on road trips its kind of hard to help people

3:11 PM me: well, I don't think he has near enough to be full owner. I'm not sure how much an NBA team costs, but the Vikings sold for 600 mil. and that didn't include a stadium, or any indication that the city would help the team get one

me: He tried before to become a minority owner with a group of investors, but he wanted control over the operations of the team
Joe: most of the nba teams have pretty nice stadiums
so i guess he probably won't control a team
3:13 PM me: he, and other people thought that somebody would go for it, just to say they owned a ball team with jordan. however, most people, if they buy a team, probably want some sort of say,
the guy who was the president and CEO of the Rockets quit and is going to start his own company
3:14 PM it is going to help groups of investors purchase sports teams without any prior knowledge of the business
Joe: when did the guy quit?
me: Jordan could get with him and they might be able to dupe somebody
Just recently
3:15 PM I guess he was instrumental in getting the Toyota Center built and he also worked out a TV deal with the Astros
But I'm not sure what that deal was, exactly
Joe: sounds like he's done something anyway
3:16 PM the new twins baseball stadium is going to be awesome

Joe: yeah
for sure this time
3:21 PM these probably wouldn't be too bad of deals for our vegas trip
3:22 PM it seems that you can get 2 plane tickets 4-5 nights hotel for $6-700
3:23 PM if we went on tuesday jan 2nd and came back sat jan 6, so 4 nights, it would be 587 to fly aa out of cedar rapids and stay at ny ny hotel
never mind, thats per person
not really a good deal

me: I was looking at going Thursday night through Sunday
